A comic novel about a divorced architect who continually dates younger women. He brings himself out of his romantic slump by taking on a project building an invisible wall around Chicago (a symbolic Jewish Eruv).
A portion of this novel originally appeared as the short story "The Kisses of Fabricant" in Chicago Magazine and in "The Lawyer's Chambers and Other Stories." Also, handwritten note appears inside front cover.
