In moving from the East Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago to Logan Square, author Marc Fischer began going to a new post office. Much to his chagrin, the level of service at the new post office was not up to his standards. Marc expressed this displeasure in a series of Facebook posts, which have been compiled here in book form.

New Voices consists of student interviews with stories of friends, family, and strangers. The collection is inspired by the work of legendary storyteller, Studs Terkel.

In this zine, Wendy Nunez has included words and original illustrations that uplift and inspire from such luminaries as Maya Angelou, Paulo Coehlo, and Lady Gaga.

The anonymity movement is a movement against the perversion of the aesthetic experience; a movement against the categorization & generalization of art; a movement away from erroneous metonymy. The unchecked adolescence of the aesthetic experience has led to an identity-centered, egotistical atmosphere and existence of art. What this new interaction of the observer and the art has begot is an overdiagnostic art theory, concerning itself with nothings and unmerited subjective judgments: removing the importance of craft & versification, and relying on the use of mass media & aristocracy to place importance on the identity of the artist, so that the importance placed by the observer on the art is minimal, in favor of, instead, the name of the artist by whom it was crafted.

Mission Statement: Echo Magazine satisfies our desire to uncover and share secrets through intriguing stories and engaging visuals. Just as the name implies, Echo is a reverberation of stories waiting to be heard.

Zine coming from the senior residents of the Lieberman Center for Health & Rehabilitation. Original pieces reflect upon the writers' experiences at Lieberman. Back page features personal ads. "Purpose: We are starting a conversation using words and creativity to let people know who we are. By putting out a zine, we are a countervoice, a dialectic, to other voices at Lieberman."

It took two years for this zine finally to hit print. Sema and Agatha began writing and drawing in 2012 after a close friend of their died in a car crash. After graduating high school, they backed away from the work, but ultimately were brought back together after another friend was incarcerated. The work includes a variety of prose, photography, and drawing. It is an ode to people, spoken through memories of their deceased friend and other lost acquaintances.

Billy chronicles extensively his own life in the Proof I Exist series. In this issue, Billy deals with a sick dog and the trials of a new job, but also enjoys taking a trip back to Chicago to visit an old friend.

It seems that this zine came out of a 2 in the morning conversation between two friends, Jamie and Katie. They discuss the all-too-common trap that many activist communities fall into: an ironic reiteration of the very hierarchies they try to dismantle. The authors seek to validate all types of "activism" and challenge the very definition of activism itself.

The Fury is a punk/hardcore zine based in suburban Chicago and published by Mark Novotny. Includes some introspective writing about location over the span of time, a scene report of sorts from the Fireside Bowl days to the current emo revival, plus missing people, eras, and facts.
