Abstract: A documentation of the Contemporary Arts Council's (of Evanston, IL) 15th annual exhibition of new and emerging Chicago based artists. Presents artwork exploring the relationships of figure and ground, literally and metaphorically. Artwork presented shares a well defined graph of distances between subjects and objects which always portray a place, person, or idea which exists as a spatial and temporal background to the foregrounded object of art.
