Abstract: A collection of oral histories of descendant of Oak Park and River Forest's oral histories. Oral histories address a broad spectrum of topics ranging from farming, log cabins, Ernest Hemingway, the women's rights' movement and schools. Over 150 photographs accompany the interviews to provide an oral history of a visual picture of early village life.
