Booklet produced in the Summer 2003 photojournalism workshop held by the East Village Youth Program in partnership with Young Chicago Authors. Includes neighbor interviews, photographs, a book review, and an interview with a professional photojournalist.

Typewritten memo/mission statement, twelve pages, laying out the church's political aims of education, voter registration, and gang intervention as well as such activities' relevance to Christian practice.

"The (Con) Temporary Art Chicago Guide is a map of Chicago, showcasing some of the city's best cultural offerings during the spring art season. The territory includes prominent art institutes and initiatives, several annual art festivals and fairs, independent art spaces and other culturally significant projects. We created the guide to help us experience the city as a space for contemporary art, to reflect on the need for and vulnerability of these cultural presentations, and to celebrate art: day and night, inside and outside, high and low."

Published in Chicago, the magazine's articles are written by staff, that explore issues facing all U.S. citizens. In this issue, the events of September 11, 2001 are discussed with various contributors writing articles from different perspectives, of potential upcoming current events, such as the Afghanistan War.
