Book (b)

This book is made up of materials donated by organizations that participated in the Printer's Ball in 2009. It is one of 300 books produced for that event. It is made up of magazine and newspaper clippings, fliers, and pieces of visual art.

Artist's Books is a booklet from an exhibition at the Annex at Spudnik Press. It contains an artist statement and thoughts on several pieces at the exhibition by the author, Daniel Mellis.

Smaller Parts is a collection of five short, occasionally surreal comics by Grant Reynolds.

The cookbook has a collection of recipes and helpful hints from members of the Chicagoland Bearded Collie Club. Chapters: Appetizers, Relishes & Pickles; Soups, Salads & Sauces; Meats & Main Dishes; Vegetables; Breads, Rolls & Pastries; Cakes, Cookies & Desserts; Beverages, Candy & Miscellaneous. The last chapter called Beardie Treats are for dogs.

The 60 paged book is entirely wordless and illustrated in black and write comic art. In the Sounds and Sea is the first part of a three part series. The journey begins with three figures (the singers) sitting around a bonfire, and the story soon bursts forth.

73 paged illustrated catalog of the 1989-1991 Books & Bookends Sculptural Approaches Traveling Exhibition. Works of Chicago area artists were included.

Select v3 was created to compliment the Version>02 show in 2002. This book and the show are about the digital commons, "intellectual property, the balance between civil liberties and security, freedom of speech and privacy, issues of access, and the creative use of tools. *

Inspired Art exhibit was held from September 8 - 30, 2011 in the South Halsted Gallery. Artists created and donated original works which were inspired by the poetry of the America Scores Chicago's youth athletes. The book includes black/white illustrations of the art work plus the poetry
