Jami Sailor

A split zine with the first half being about the author's experiences living in her childhood home. The second half, in the words of the author- "Lake Effect is about experiences with violence-physical and emotional- and how these experiences shape the way I understand myself and interact with the world."

The Land Line is a quarterly publication based in Chicago invested in furthering print publication. It is a collaborative effort by a collection of artists, writers, activists, and musicians who contribute literary criticism, Chicago history, and various explorations of style and genre. The Land Line is committed to a collective production process, including laying out the paper by hand so that everyone can be involved. The benefit shows, film screenings, and readings they host not only fund the paper but are essential to the project of building a community around the journal.

Interview Clothes is a cut and color paper doll zine by Jami Sailor and Jenna Bee, with 2 dolls and 10 outfits, in the tradition of American Girl magazine…and effigy dolls. Don’t cut our heads off! Jami says: “yes, my feet look like clubs. and my knees like cinnamon rolls.” JB says: “stick me in my union suit and pose me watching Roseanne reruns while guzzling black coffee.” *

This is a double Zine, with Potty Language #1 on one side and Your Nanny #9 on the other.
