About the Cover: "An image may be worth 1,000 words, but the words archivists choose to describe an image may have a great effect on research. This image, titled "James Groppi in back of police wagon, 1966" shows a Milwaukee priest who was active in the Civil Rights Movement. The image was one of 30 records Edward Benoit selected for a study comparing tags created by expert and novice domain users within a simulated minimally processed digital archives.
