Chapbook of poetry on various themes by Paulette Roeske, an Evanston resident and Vice President of The Poetry Center at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Subject matter includes family, teaching, art, and death. Illnois Writers Incorporated, affiliated with Illinois State University in Normal, IL, published Roeske as the winner of their 1991 chapbook competition.

Hans Hofman/Exuberant Eye examines the artistic production and experimentation of Hans Hofmann (1880-1966). Presenting oil paintings and works on paper, this show considers Hofmann's career from the late 1930s to the mid-1960s, decades during which he explored various themes and styles. Hofmann's towering presence in twentieth-century art rises from two foundations of accomplishment and influence-his art and his teaching. His role in shaping American art was profound, and the works in Hans Hofmann/Exuberant Eye are a testament to the artist's brilliance, originality, adventurous spirit, and continued relevance and importance to the twientieth century. -abstract taken from book

The Suburban is a space in a home in Oak Park. In this home, artist contribute and show their work and have total freedom to do so.

This book features a variety of examples from the Art Institute of Chicago's collection of works by Jose Guadalupe Posada (1852-1913), the preeminent Mexican broadside artist. Broadsides, a mainstay of the late-nineteenth and early twentieth-century Mexican penny press, were colorful, graphically powerful handbills treating a variety of themes, produced by publishers in collaboration with graphic artists like Posada. A critical essay by Posada Project guest curator Donna Miliotes (featured in both English and Spanish) analyzes Posada and his art in the context of his biography, his era, his politics, and the genre of the broadside. Published in conjunction with a two-part Art Institute exhibit (June 24-September 25, 2006; October 7, 2006-January 17, 2007).

Catalog for an exhibition of works by predominantly Chicago artists that appeared in Playboy Magazine from its founding onward. Exhibition took place at Hyde Park Art Center from March 7 to April 24, 2004. Includes an essay by Playboy writer and History Channel contributor James R. Petersen, exploring not only the art and the artists but also Playboy's contributions to American pop culture.
