These kids are at it again! Zine created as part of the Quimby's 2011 Revenge of Print challenge. Zine includes middle school writing sprinkled with pop culture whimsy - from a photo shoot with Justin Beiber, a Ke$ha concert and advice on bad insults.

Lynn Behrendt grew up in Pearl River, New York, and Chester, Vermont and graduated from Bard College with a BA in Creative Writing. She is the author of four chapbooks: The Moon As Chance, Characters, Tinder, and Luminous Flux. She co-edits the Annandale Dream Gazette, a chronicle of poets' dreams, as well as Peep/Show Poetry, an electronic journal of innovative serial works. She publishes limited edition handmade books under the Lines Chapbooks imprint in Red Hook, New York, where she lives and works as a freelance write and editor.

The second issue of Dear Jaguar continues the irreverent voice and cut-and-paste visual style of its predecessor. But this one has a theme, nightmares. The author explores the evolution of several nightmares while juxtaposing collage work and several drawings. She also includes a series of photo booth style pictures as well as lists and recommended mix tape playlists.

Entwined focuses on the life of a nearly silent 77-year-old woman, Lottie Mower, who has spent most of her life in mental institutions or nursing homes. A young woman, Charly, befriends her and becomes ensnared in the net of emotions that have caused Lottie's silence. Charly begins dreaming the old woman's young life and finds herself inextricably linked to Lottie's toils that landed her in Lima State Hospital.
