Abstract:
A young straight woman named Sharla moves to Chicago and is mistaken for a lesbian, Meredith, with whom she identical physically, but the opposite in personality. Initially disgusted that her "doppelganer" is queer, Sharla becomes more and more obsessed with Meredith's life, believing that the confident, popular Meredith stole the soul that was rightfully hers.<br />
