How Beehive Collective Changed the World is a zine about how the Beehive Collective art group uses their art to oppose war.

With no author nor publisher listed, and little text, this zine leaves much interpretation to the leader. Mixing techniques of collage and drawing, the author includes somewhat dark images and short texts on the subjects of drug addiction, teen rebellion, and nudity.

This booklet, designed by Temporary Services, is authored and illustrated by an Illinois-based group of artists, teachers, activists and prisoners. It sensitively explores the movement in time in prison, as compared to the speed of life and labor on the outside. (from halfletterpress.com)

Marc Fischer wrote "Against Competition" in 2006. The essay takes on the pervasive and corrosive problem of competition that exists and is created between artists by a market-driven art system. The essay also explores productive collaborative models in art, as well as in underground music subcultures whose approaches to generosity and working together might be something for artists to learn from. This book is part of a multi-city exhibition called Organize Your Own: The Politics and Poetics of Self-Determination Movements. It strives to invite artists and poets to consider what it means to "organize your own" in the context of social and racial justice. It also includes histories of organizing that form the foundation of today's self-determination movements.

This zine is a reprint of the 1975 publication Consciousness Raising Guidelines, a handbook for women wishing to start a consciousness raising (CR) group during the second-wave feminist movement in the late 1960s and 70s. The authors also contribute modern-day commentary on the utility of these groups today and challenge readers to expand their understanding of CR beyond the typical White feminist framework it has usually been characterized by.

This was a publication produced as part of the Juvenile Justice series published by the Hull House Museum in Chicago in partnership with the Chicago Freedom School. It seeks to educate about the particular violences faced by young women and girls as the hands of the Illinois juvenile justice system.
