The Romance of Exploration and Emergency First-Aid from Stanley to Byrd

Date:
1934
Edition:
Volume:
Issue:
Abstract:
This book is an incredible piece of history and advertising. The book tells the stories of explorers in aviation, Antartica, and Africa in the Heroes of Polar Exploration, Pioneers of Air Travel, and Pioneer Heroes of Africa. The true hero of the book is the Tabloid Medical supplies featured in the adventures that sponsored the publication. A feature at the Chicago World's Fair 1934 Tabloid and The Burroughs Welcome and Company products are highlighted and demonstrated in medical miracle feats. The Burroughs Welcome and Company shares its other beauty and photography products after they have shown the reader the power of the Tabloid. This book has beautiful photographs, drawings, advertisements, and lithographs as supplements to the text.
