This zine spans two years of the author's life, age 21 to 23, and she explains it as follows: "This zine is a disorganized hodge-podge of my last years in college, and my first months of post-grad. Like my last issue, there are tons of references to coffee, Harry Potter, and not showering. But I bookended this round with two comics about my mom."

Inside Cover: The Logan Square Literary Review is a not-for-profit, journal of words based in Chicago, Ill. This publication aims to facilitate expression and add to the thriving community of ideas in the neighborhood of Logan Square. Therefore, the LSLR is dependant on submissions from the public.

I took the title from a Clarice Lispector chronicle & said everything I write this year will be called an abstract door b/c it feels like I'm always trying to open or enter an experience & never being able to, such as the theme of this first issue: job search post-college, mother-daughter relationship, happiness.
