Something is Wrong: Exploring the Roots of Youth Violence was inspired by the fatal beating of Derrion Albert, 16, a Fenger High School student in Chicago in 2009. The goal of the guide is to help educators start a positive dialogue about youth violence. This curriculum guide was made through the partnership of the Chicago Freedom School, Project NIA, and Teachers for Social Justice.
