Euphony is a non-profit literary journal produced biannually at the University of Chicago. It publishes a variety of works including poetry, fiction, drama, essays, criticism, and translations.

Lying Down With Full Stomachs is a journal put out by Manual Labor Gallery. It contains prose, poetry and visual art that was chosen from the previous year in their gallery space.

Make is a Chicago literary magazine. It contains fiction and nonfiction as well as photography and art.

The Journal of Artists' Books is a twice annual publication that reviews books in both long form and a brief review form. It is published by the Columbia College Chicago Center for Book & Paper Arts.

"bailliwik n. an area of activity in which somebody has particular responsibility, or in which he/she has specialized knowledge or ability. Bailliwik is an artists' cooperative and a self-published periodical of our work. Our members live throughout the world. Some of us grew up together and some of us have never met. We are artists, designers, musicians, writers, students, volunteers, teachers, and many other things too." *
